Between 2014 and 2021, the Society of Homeopaths were accredited by the Professional Standards Authority, a government body which regulates healthcare regulators and registers.

We felt that accreditation status gave the SoH an undue level of credibility, and gave the public the impression that homeopathy is safe, effective and beneficial.

Good Thinking challenged that accreditation in 2019, and in 2021 the PSA updated their Standards, causing the Society of Homeopaths to withdraw from the scheme.
